Hello! My name is Josephine and I’m a digital artist from Gothenburg, Sweden. I’m currently studying my last year of game development at Valla Game Education and loving every second of it - being able to fulfill my dream of becoming a game developer/artist! I’m passionate about creating diverse characters, fantastical worlds and engaging stories; all through the digital art medium and making them come to life in video games.
I love working with juxtapositions in my art. Like the contrast between cute and creepy, bright and dark. I also strive to convey complex themes through my art and tell stories the world needs to hear. Just like the game “MOSAIC” did for me: inspiring me not only to create my addition to the Art of Fury gallery, but to finally take the leap and follow my passions in life. I’m so grateful to be chosen to be a part of Raw Fury’s and the C/O Bauer Gallery’s amazing initiative, highlighting the artistic aspect of all kinds of games. And I can’t express enough how much I agree with their sentiment: games are art!”
