Which game inspired you and why?

Final Fantasy XIV
This game has become one of the most impactful game I've ever played so far. I believe its story to be one of the best (if not the best) stories ever told in a game (and fiction in general). FFXIV's ability to deliver strong, emotionally impactful and gut-wrenching stories and messages has deeply impacted me. FFXIV has recently concluded its 10+ years of its main story through its most recent expansion, Endwalker, and it has nailed the landing. Rarely do writers of long running franchises/series ever ended their stories successfully, and I've found myself extremely impressed by FFXIV's ability to do otherwise.
To quote one of my favourite lines from Endwalker:
May you have the joy of it, the burden and the solitude.
